The program provides certified athletic trainers who support local student-athletes, schools, and sports organizations throughout Southwest Florida. Through a partnership with the School District of Lee County, Lee Health athletic trainers help cover all public high schools in the county, supporting athletes across a wide variety of sports including football, soccer, basketball, volleyball, swimming, wrestling, and more. The program emphasizes athlete safety, wellness, and performance while collaborating closely with physicians, orthopedic specialists, physical therapists, and rehabilitation teams. As an athletic trainer, you will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and participating in a successful school athletics injury prevention and treatment program in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner that supports the goals of both the Lee County School District and Lee Health Rehabilitation Services.
