Job Summary: The Senior Server Engineer is responsible for supporting, maintaining, and improving enterprise server, virtualization, storage, and hybrid cloud infrastructure across assigned datacenters, data rooms, and related computing environments. This role requires advanced technical knowledge of Windows Server and desktop operating systems, VMware, Citrix, converged and hyper-converged compute platforms, enterprise storage, data protection, and cloud technology platforms including Microsoft Azure, AWS, and related hybrid cloud services. The engineer will support secure, scalable, and resilient infrastructure operations through proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, automation, documentation, patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management. This position also requires strong scripting and automation skills, sound understanding of information security best practices, and the ability to participate in scheduled and unscheduled after-hours maintenance, emergency response, and mandatory on-call rotation in a 24x7 computing environment. The Senior Server Engineer is expected to collaborate effectively with customers, vendors, application teams, peers, and leadership; mentor other engineers; provide recommendations for operational improvements and innovation; and deliver excellent customer service with professionalism, compassion, empathy, and a consistent supportive attitude.
