Description The Safety Coordinator is responsible for implementing and managing safety programs to ensure a safe working environment within the manufacturing plant. Primary Responsibilities: Implement, and maintain safety programs, policies, and procedures that comply with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company standards. Investigate workplace accidents, injuries, and near-misses to determine root causes. Prepare detailed reports and recommend preventive measures to avoid future incidents. Ensure the plant is in compliance with OSHA regulations, environmental standards, and other relevant safety laws. Keep up to date with changes in safety regulations and communicate these changes to the relevant parties. Lead and participate in safety committees and meetings, fostering collaboration between departments to improve safety practices and address safety concerns. Promote a culture of safety throughout the organization by encouraging safe work practices, recognizing safe behavior, and addressing unsafe behavior promptly. Ensure the proper use and availability of personal protective equipment (PPE) for all employees. Conduct regular checks to ensure PPE is being used correctly and is in good condition. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of safety training, incidents, inspections, and corrective actions. Prepare reports and present safety metrics to management. Must be willing to cross train against machinery in plant, LOTO, and operation of equipment found in the facility. Must be capable of supporting a multilingual, multi-shift workforce. Required Skills: Basic understanding of OSHA regulations, safety standards, and best practices in workplace safety. Familiarity with hazard identification, risk assessment, and incident investigation techniques. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively train employees, report to management, and collaborate with other departments. Order Fulfillment & Follow-Up: Ensure prompt and professional fulfillment of all client orders by effectively coordinating candidate placement, following up to ensure client satisfaction, and identifying additional business opportunities. Client Retention & Upselling : Proactively follow up with existing clients, identify upselling opportunities, and ensure repeat business through exceptional customer service and relationship management. Sales Reporting & Goal Tracking: Maintain accurate records of your sales activities, set monthly and quarterly targets, and track progress toward sales goals. Administrative Support: Assist with onboarding, scheduling, and administrative tasks to keep operations running smoothly.
