Compensation: $28 - $32 hourly Responsibilities: Operate digital printing equipment to produce high-quality output across a variety of media and substrates Perform bindery tasks, including folding, collating, stapling, laminating, and binding Execute precision cutting using guillotine cutters, trimmers, and other cutting equipment Apply UV coating and oversee related finishing processes to meet client specifications Carry out finishing operations such as mounting, trimming, scoring, and packaging of final products Perform basic prepress functions, including file review, color checks, and print-ready preparation Monitor print quality throughout production and make adjustments as needed to maintain standards Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment to minimize downtime Work collaboratively with design, production, and customer service teams to meet project deadlines Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with all safety guidelines Track materials usage and communicate supply needs to management Carefully package finished print products to ensure safe delivery, including wrapping, boxing, and padding materials as appropriate Prepare outgoing shipments using UPS, FedEx, and other carriers - including printing labels, completing shipping documentation, and scheduling pickups Receive and inspect incoming shipments of substrates, inks, and supplies, noting any discrepancies or damage Coordinate with team members on shipping timelines, delivery options, and order tracking Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in a commercial or digital print production environment Proficiency in operating digital printing equipment Knowledge of RIP software and print management systems Working knowledge of bindery equipment: cutters, folders, laminators, and saddle stitchers Experience with UV coating application and finishing techniques Basic prepress knowledge, including file formats, color modes (RGB/CMYK), and print-ready requirements Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality output Ability to read and interpret job tickets, work orders, and client specifications Capable of standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs Reliable, punctual, and able to manage multiple jobs in a fast-paced production environment About Company We are a full-service printing and visual communications company based in Boise, Idaho.
