In this position you will perform production activities that require the operation of machinery (CNC machines with Fanuc Control). Ideal candidate will have experience with CNC Lathe/Swiss Screw machine and can set-up and program. Responsibilities: The job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Program- setup and run machine jobs per standard methods as needed on various multi axis CNC lathes and screw machines and deburr/detail part while machines are running. Produce good quality parts and tooling per work standard cycle times. Inspect quality and use standard work methods to ensure quality. Complete and sign Workorder-Travelers per policy. Be able to demonstrate proper quality control measurement of machined parts. Be familiar with CNC machine G and M codes and adjust programs as needed. Be familiar with Mastercam CNC programming software. (preferred) Train other personnel as required. Own the jobs on the floor. Work with Operators and QA personnel. Always work to the company policies and procedures Other duties as assigned. Requirements: Experience operating lathe machines including programing and set ups. Strong attention to detail, good vision (see details of objects up close), good hand-eye coordination. Ability to understand instructions and arithmetic calculations. Frequent mental and visual concentration is required while waiting on machines to complete cycles, inspection of parts, etc. Requires constant attention to prevent injury to self and co-workers and damage to equipment. Requires standing, repeated reaching and twisting, hand movement throughout entire shift. Professionalism, good work ethic, willingness to learn, quick learner. Works well with others.
