Job Summary The Drill Technician plays a versatile role performing both drilling and Construction Materials Testing (CMT) operations. Perform field and laboratory testing of concrete, soils, bituminous, or masonry products. Conduct quality assurance services on construction sites. Perform routine maintenance on drilling and CMT equipment. Conduct pre-operational checks and report issues promptly. Assist in collection, labeling, and transport of soil and rock samples. Prepare written field logs of borings and soil classifications. Assist in site preparation activities and ensure access for drilling equipment. Record drilling and CMT data accurately and maintain detailed field information. Adhere to all safety guidelines and participate in safety meetings. Maintain effective communication and collaborate with team members. Required Qualifications and Education High school diploma or equivalent.
