Has in-depth experience and knowledge of all Shipping procedures (Fedex, UPS, DSL, Freight, International, etc.) Packs and unpacks orders while maintaining department schedule. Effectively uses organization systems and warehouse technology to locate and gather stock. Creates shipping labels and handles shipping information. Problem solves for customers and suppliers about shipping routes, delayed items and rush orders. Performs administrative duties like answering phones, updating records and providing excellent customer service. Liaises with material handlers and managers about product ordering and storage. Load/Unload packages incoming from trucks Inspect contents to make sure they are undamaged Verify packages according to order and invoices (quantity, quality, price, shipping method, etc.) Assume responsibility for returning unsatisfactory shipments or receiving replacements Label deliveries and allocate them to their designated place Ensure invoices are signed for satisfactory deliveries Knowledge of Receiving process and ability to perform Receiving when required. Quality Position Requirements: Typically requires a HS diploma Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Shipping, Receiving, and Warehouse operations. Knowledge in warehouse procedures Must be able to interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions, safety rules and procedure manuals Ability to read and write English.
