Work in collaboration with leadership and provide oversight on the inpatient, hospital, and ambulatory cardiology programs both at SFHMC and with community outreach for care coordination. Be responsible for creating processes, staff oversight, provider recruitment, and establishing relationships with hospital leaders and services lines. Ensure services comply with all hospital and regulatory agency standards and procedures and ensure compliance with all medical functions and maintain all requirements of The Joint Commission and other applicable Federal, State, and local regulatory and/or accrediting agencies. In collaboration with the staff/senior leadership team, the Chief will have a focus on growing the service lines within the Department. The Chief provides visionary leadership that enhances existing programs and drives the development of new initiatives. Function as a Cardiologist in your area of expertise as a member of the Heart and Vascular Service.
