Facilities Technician Location: Bethel, CT Payrate: $19 / hour Full-Time Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM On-site Ability Beyond is seeking a Facilities Technician to support the maintenance and repair of our residential and program facilities. This role is hands-on and essential to ensuring our environments are safe, functional, and well-maintained. The Facilities Technician will perform routine maintenance, respond to urgent repairs, and support preventative maintenance efforts across agency properties. Basic Qualifications : Minimum of 4 years' experience in troubleshooting Experience with commercial kitchen repair and maintenance Knowledgeable with CO2 systems that include soda and beer drink systems Extensive knowledge in electrical controls with the ability to troubleshoot and repair commercial kitchen equipment both electrical and gas fired Ability to read blue prints and schematics Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills Proficiency in standard office software programs and mobile electronic devices Additional Information : At Walt Disney World, we are makers and doers!
