Success in this role is measured by effective communication with customers, mentoring drivers, supporting cross-team projects, and being recognized as a key team contributor./ppstrongResponsibilities:/strong/pulliReceives incoming calls from drivers requesting emergency and non-emergency assistance./liliDetermines which trucks/trailers are most time-sensitive and reacts accordingly./liliAlerts Planners, Dispatchers, and Fleet Supervisors of breakdown or maintenance delay and keeps them informed on the status of the repair./liliContacts a repairman available in the vicinity of the truck./liliRemains cost conscious; researches the lowest costs and closest repairmen and acts to maintain maximum efficiency./liliRecords daily logs of long and short-term repair projects of all trucks and trailers./liliUpdates the status of truck/trailer in system./liliEnters invoices into the computer. Administers driver charge backs./liliPosts repair and maintenance amounts in maintenance software./liliProvides invoices to drivers if needed.
