Produce, inspect, and pack, acceptable product per work instructions and approved samples for shipment to customers Daily review of part information books for accuracy Assist in organizing supplies and purchased goods to keep production flowing. Provide notification when critical supplies need to be ordered. Assist Molding Shift Leaders, Set-Up Technicians, and Process Technicians/Engineers when needed Maintain the overall cleanliness of the molding manufacturing areas on a daily basis, including proper storage of all equipment and supplies Learn about, understand, and follow ISO-9001 and ISO-13485 procedures, as well as company policies and safety procedures Operate fork trucks and hand jacks in a safe manner at all times Collect and dispose of scrap parts and runners Verify cleanliness and properly assemble all required equipment for production, including basic electrical and air connections. Organizational Relationships: The Machine Operator reports directly to the Shift Supervisor. They will take directions from Senior Machine Operators to learn the skills required to be successful in the position. Experience and/or Educational Requirements: Ability to lift 25lbs required Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movement required Ability to work standing or walking for an extended period of time required Ability to see colors (i.e absence of color blindness) required Physical Requirements: Must be able to work a standard 40 hour work week with occasional overtime including weekends as a possibility. Sitting and/or standing for an extended period of time as well as some walking within the facility. Must be able to see with or without corrective lenses and distinguish color differences and depth perception for product and safety issues. C&C Offers: Union Pension Plan Medical, Dental, Vision benefits available Vacation Time Retirement Plan Opportunities Overtime Opportunities Competitive wages Supplemental Pay (bonus pay, commission pay, signing bonus) Primary Responsibilities: Job will require IC and Electric truck repairs Complete scheduled PM and repair assignments within the time frame allotted Track van inventory to meet PM schedule Perform routine forklift maintenance Use diagnostic tools to test forklift components Perform quality inspections Skills Required: The ability to work in all types of weather conditions The ability to stand and walk for long periods of time Employee must be able to push, pull, carry, grasp, reach and crouch when needed for the job Employee must be able to communicate effectively with management, customers, and other employees Job will require the employee to interpret documents, comprehend basic instructions (written or verbal), apply abstract principles to a wide range of complex tasks Employee must be able to analyze information and write a diagnosis on work orders The ability to decipher different colors Must be able to work individually and as a team Qualifications: Prefer 1 or more years' experience as a heavy equipment mechanic or related mechanic jobs Valid Driver's license with a good driving record Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Deadline and detail-oriented Valid Driver's license with a good driving record Ability to lift 50 lbs. Willingness to learn Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Schedule: 7:30 a.m to 4:00 p.m. shop hours All candidates will be required to submit to drug screening and motor vehicle background checks.
