The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of title opinion experience and be licensed in TX. We will consider Associate, Senior Attorney, and Shareholder levels. Responsibilities: Conduct thorough title examinations for oil and gas properties, including analysis of deeds, leases, probate documents, and other relevant documents. Prepare title opinions and curative documents based on findings from title examinations. Perform due diligence for acquisitions and divestitures, including review of purchase and sale agreements, joint operating agreements, and other transaction documents. Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on issues related to oil and gas title, including leasehold and royalty interests, pooling and unitization, and title defects. Qualifications: Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school. Licensed to practice in TX. 3+ years of oil & gas title opinion experience Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex legal documents and identify potential issues. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex legal concepts to clients and team members.
