You'll be responsible for: Lead the end-to-end financial reporting process, taking ownership of the month-end close, worldwide consolidation of subsidiaries, reconciliations, and variance analysis. Identify opportunities to streamline processes and support accelerated close initiatives. Train, mentor, and supervise the accounting team, fostering a high-performance, accountable, and collaborative environment. Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and provide guidance on complex transactions. Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and documentation of key accounting practices, including revenue recognition, tax accruals, deferrals, intercompany transactions, and cost allocations. Stay current on accounting pronouncements and propose updates as needed. Manage the annual audit process with external CPA firms, including preparation of lead schedules, internal control documentation, and assistance in drafting audit reports. Support the preparation of annual tax returns, reconcile tax accruals, and coordinate with global CPA and accounting firms on tax-related matters. Lead ERP optimization efforts, become a subject-matter expert, train users, and play a key role in establishing new entities, merging financial systems, and integrating records. Provide backup support to the VP of Finance in areas including treasury, tax, and forecasting/BI tools. Qualifications: A minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role A CPA designation or MBA Manufacturing experience preferred Excel, ERP and BI / AI tools advanced knowledge.
