Job Description Job Description Low Voltage Technician Looking for Performers (Nashville TN Based Company) All Low Voltage Technicians Low Voltage Technicians (All Levels) Low Voltage Experience experience installing Low Voltage Cabling, Voice, Data and Fiber Optic Cabling. and or Electrician with LLE or CE Local Low Voltage Company is currently hiring all levels of commercial low voltage technicians for immediate opportunities in the Nashville area. If you have experience in any of the following, you are encouraged email a resume. Job Description: - Level I Voice/Data Tech (6 months to 2 yrs. of experience) Familiar with all EIA/TIA standards. Capable of identifying, pulling and labeling Cat3, 5, 5e, Cat 6 and fiber optic cable. Installing support structures (J-hooks, support rings, cable slings and cable tray / ladder rack). Termination of work station outlets (110 style). These techs potentially have some exposure to closet dressing, termination of closet equipment and multi-pair color code terminations. Some exposure to the "dummy" end of some test kits. Such as Fluke DTX. - Level II Voice/Data Tech (2 year to 4 years experience) Familiar with all EIA/TIA standards. Capable of identifying, pulling and labeling Cat3, 5, 5e, Cat 6 and fiber optic cable. Installing support structures (J-hooks, support rings, cable slings and cable tray / ladder rack). Termination of work station outlets and closet equipment (110 & 66 blocks, Bix & Krone Hardware). These techs have some exposure fiber terminations. Experience with both ends of basic level testing as well as high level testing and documentation. Termination experience with Multi-pair / strand cable (Copper and fiber). Capable of reading blue prints, identifying cable paths. Computer Exp, for Surveys minor Network Changes. - Level III Voice/Data Tech (5 years + ) Capable of performing all above mentioned tasks including but not limited to leading small to large crews. Able to Troubleshoot, Voice Analog and Digital Phone Systems, Exp with Troubleshooting VOIP Phone Systems. High level testing and documentation experience required.
