2. Loan Intake
Process all loan inquires reflecting receipt and assigning to appropriate RM, and outside key constituents. Conduct financial spreading, loan system input, and analysis of community factors and statistical trends for all received applications, ensuring the loan origination package is complete before concluding the underwriting process or forwarding materials to the Relationship Manager.3. Portfolio Monitoring & Loan Administration
Prepare and update the monthly Watch List, including coordination with Relationship Managers to collect supporting financial and narrative updates.Oversee ongoing loan reviews, including data tracking and coordination between Relationship Managers.Prepare and process loan adjustment and loan modification requests for committee approvals. Provide underwriting details, documentation, and committee approvals to support the Closing Associates as they prepare the commitment letter and final loan closing documents.4. Committee & Leadership Support
Prepare and distribute loan packages to the Staff Loan Team (SLT), Loan Policy Committee (LPC), and the Board of Directors (BD).Serve as a recorder for meeting minutes for SLT, LPC, and BD. Schedule meetings for SLT and LPC and ensure all required materials are prepared in advance5. Cross Functional Collaboration
Partner closely with Relationship Managers to collect borrower's financials, assemble Watch List materials, and support ongoing loan monitoring.Ensure clear and timely communication with internal teams and external partners. Maintain organized, accurate, and compliant credit files and records.Essential Position Requirements: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field preferred or equivalent work experience. 5+ years of experience in commercial/business underwriting, credit analysis, or portfolio management. Strong financial analysis skills, including experience spreading financials. Familiarity with loan management systems; Abrigo Loan Origination software experience is a plus. Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills; strong professional and clear communication; high integrity and accountability; ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with closing associates; and the flexibility to prioritize tasks in a mission-driven environment.Helpful Skills:Have a deep understanding and commitment to cultural and racial ethnic inclusiveness.
