MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN The Maintenance Technician is responsible for assisting in carrying out the maintenance processes of the property, including corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic maintenance. The Maintenance Technician is also responsible for the make-ready process in a manner consistent with the property's operational objectives under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager. Job Details Job Details: We are currently seeking a seasoned Permanent Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. This position is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional who is seeking to leverage their expertise in mechanical and electrical maintenance to ensure the smooth running of our manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will have a pivotal role in our company, being responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving our manufacturing equipment with a focus in PLC controls and integration (Keyence, Siemens, and Allen Bradley). Carry out routine preventive maintenance on a variety of manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal operation and reduce downtime. 2. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe work environment. 5. Document all maintenance and repair work performed, and keep records of replaced parts. 6. Collaborate with the production team to understand and meet the specific maintenance needs of each machine. 7. Participate in the development and implementation of improvement initiatives for maintenance processes. 8. Provide technical support and training to junior maintenance staff. 9. Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and resolve issues efficiently to minimize production downtime. 10. Liaise with vendors and suppliers for the procurement of necessary spare parts and equipment. Qualifications: 1. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a maintenance technician role in a manufacturing environment. 2. Proven expertise in mechanical and electrical maintenance, with a strong understanding of all aspects of manufacturing equipment operation. 3. Proficiency in preventive maintenance practices, with a demonstrated ability to reduce equipment downtime. 4. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a knack for identifying and resolving potential issues before they escalate. 5. Strong technical skills, with the ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, and schematics. 6. A safety-first mindset, with knowledge of relevant safety regulations and procedures. 7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills. 8. Physical stamina and dexterity, with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in confined spaces. 9. High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certifications or associate degree in a technical field preferred. 10.
