Summary: This full-time position is a 32-hour per week role in specialty area of pelvic health physical therapy. The work schedule is split between 2 outpatient clinic locations: UNC Therapy Services Cary and UNC Therapy Services Durham. The Cary clinic location is an expansion of current pelvic health services in an otherwise orthopedic setting within the wellness center. The Durham clinic focuses on pelvic health and lymphedema therapies and is the hub of our program. Both clinical spaces offer 1:1 patient care with 60-minute duration appointments within dedicated treatment rooms. Candidates must either have prior work in this specialty area or completed a 12-week clinical rotation as a student, plus completion of Pelvic Floor Level 1 education. The ideal candidate has prior work experience in pelvic floor and providing trauma-informed care, and has ability to maintain dual caseloads of adult patients between clinics. Opportunities abound for honing clinical skills via dedicated team inservices and meetings, annual funds for professional development, and access to virtual trainings. The ideal candidate will actively participate in the program expansion of pelvic health services at both our satellite and main locations. The department will support additional formal offsite trainings in area of pediatric pelvic health. The hiring department hosts the Pelvic and Women's Health residency program at UNC Health, enabling the candidate opportunity to interact with the residents and mentors in the program. Responsibilities: 1. Completes physical therapy documentation, billing, and statistics per team guidelines. Manage daily caseload with efficiency and efficacy. Meets productivity standards per team guidelines. 2. Administers tests and measures to assist in establishing a plan of care and interventions and manages resources to accomplish patient goals; Communicates relevant information to promote continuity of care. 3. Mentors assistive personnel and delegates responsibilities as per licensing board guidelines. 4. Provides clinical precepting and teaching for students and/or staff under the guidance of the clinical specialist or other subject matter experts. Provides regular feedback, coaching and mentoring.
