Describe the make-up of support staff: No mid levels, nurses are well-trained and educated
Describe the daily shift requirements: 12 hour Productive shift daytime and nighttime coverage (weekend and weekday), swing shift (2p-1a), all coverage needed
Practice EMR: Meditech
Census is anywhere from 30-45 per day for 2 physicians during the day and a third swing physician who works from 3p-11p.
47 bed ICU - mainly closed but not completely
