OB/GYN Hospitalist Opportunity Athens, Ohio
A facility in Athens, Ohio is seeking Board-Certified OB/GYN Hospitalists to provide inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care with coverage beginning in February and March and continuing on an ongoing basis. The role includes 24-hour in-house shifts with flexible scheduling designed to support work-life balance.
Responsibilities include OB triage, inpatient admissions, labor and delivery management, emergency OB/GYN care, and multidisciplinary obstetric critical care. Providers will collaborate closely with community OB physicians and hospital staff to ensure continuity of care, strong communication, and high-quality patient outcomes.
Requirements:
Board Certified in OB/GYN
Minimum of one year of recent clinical experience
Active Ohio medical license preferred or IMLC eligibility/in process
Completed prescreen questionnaire
Updated CV in MM/YYYY format with all gaps explained
Current Self-Query NPDB report (within 30 days)
Ability to provide full credentialing and submission documentation at time of name clear
