What does our Paralegal do?
Our paralegals perform a variety of functions in support of the Firm's family law attorneys and retained clients.
Draft, read, and interpret sworn financial statements
Review client financial documents for legal proceedings
Draft, proofread, and review pleadings
In consult with attorney, schedule hearings, conferences, mediations
Prepare and submit court filings accurately and timely
Communicate with clients, answer questions, request information and provide support as needed
Ensure accuracy in billing, time entry, calendaring, and file management (electronic and paper)
Prepare discovery and trial exhibits
Maintain current knowledge of Colorado courts and local jurisdictions
Calculate accurate deadlines and docket them using electronic calendaring systems
What you bring to the team!
Education and Experience
Associate's degree or equivalent job experience
2+ years' experience as a Family Law paralegal
Ability to obtain Notary Commission Certificate

WORKING CONDITIONS AND ENVIRONMENT
