Family Law Paralegal

Only applicants with relevant Family Law experience will be considered for this position!

We are a fast-paced Texas family law firm seeking an experienced Family Law Paralegal to step into an established caseload. This role replaces a departing paralegal whose cases are current and well-maintained; there is no backlog or cleanup required.

This position is ideal for a paralegal who thrives on autonomy, takes ownership of their work, and values professionalism, clear boundaries, and mutual respect.

$55,000 - $75,000 yearly

• Draft original petitions, answers, counterpetitions, motions, discovery, and orders
• Prepare and manage discovery (requests, responses, supplementation)
• Draft mediation summaries and trial prep materials
• Maintain client communication and manage expectations
• Calendar and track deadlines
• Communicate with opposing counsel professionally and strategically
• Assist attorneys in trial preparation

Only applicants with relevant Family Law experience will be considered for this position.

• 3+ years of Texas family law experience (required)
• Strong drafting ability (samples may be requested)
• Experience managing a large caseload
• Proficient in e-filing and Texas court procedures
• Organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven
