Job Description
- Coverage type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Only (no call)
- Shifts: 7a 7p and 7p 7a; client needs both days and nights, mainly nights
- Volume: 40 patients per shift in a 23-bed ED
- Practice setting: Inpatient ED only
- No admissions, rounding, or hospital/surgery center privileges required
- Trauma level 3; Peds level 1; stroke certified
- Newborn deliveries received in ED; L&D onsite
- Support staff per shift: 5 RNs, 2 APPs, 0 MA, 0 office staff
- Pure ED clinical shifts (no call, no admissions responsibility)
- No APP supervision; no resident/teaching responsibilities
- 24/7 support services: anesthesia, general surgery, lab, ortho, radiology, OR, vascular; limited/none for CT surgery, cath lab, neurosurgery
