Want to help bring "magic" at sea? This is an hourly role with the Disney Cruise Line Talent Acquisition Team. This position requires a high level of integrity supported by your ability to be resourceful, overcome hurdles, think outside the box, and have the ability to build long-term relationships with others to accomplish goals.
This position reports to the Manager, DCL Recruitment Operations.
This is a full-time hourly role.
What You Will Do
Handle the timely and accurate processing of complex hires and system transactions in the Applicant Tracking System, HR System of Record, Document Tracking System, and other Disney Cruise Line-specific systems
Be the main point on contact for applicants, candidates, international hiring agencies, and internal partners
Coordinate and communicate all travel arrangements for new hires to ensure a smooth onboarding process
Leverage reporting and technology to create efficiency for the areas of responsibility you support
Ensure accuracy of candidate records and validate that documents are returned on time to ensure the company remains compliant
Collaborate with other Disney Cruise Line Departments and other HR teams to process and expedite pre-employment requirements
Effectively support international agencies to ensure a focus on the candidate experience while observing all maritime and legal requirements
Support all new hire onboarding logistics
Assist recruiters and business partners as needed with special projects
Ensure a seamless candidate-focused experience for all applicants, candidates, and new hires
Qualifications & Skills
Experience analyzing information, problem-solving, and making accurate decisions in a fast paced environment while managing multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
Experience handling confidential and sensitive information while maintaining accuracy, discretion, and compliance across multiple concurrent tasks
Experience quickly learning and adapting to new technologies, systems, and tools with minimal training
Experience using Microsoft Office 365 applications (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) to support daily work, reporting, and communication needs.
Experience delivering clear, professional verbal and written communication to a variety of stakeholders
Experience partnering effectively with hiring agents, Disney Cruise Line partners, and Talent Acquisition teams to support recruitment activities and shared goals
Experience working collaboratively within a team environment, contributing to team objectives, problem-solving, and overall performance
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
Experience with The Walt Disney Company
Experience supporting Disney Cruise Line and/or the cruise industry, including exposure to maritime, hospitality, or global workforce operations
Experience in Talent Acquisition and/or Human Resources, including recruiting, hiring support, onboarding, or employee lifecycle processes
Experience operating in an international business environment, partnering with stakeholders across regions, time zones, or countries
Experience using applicant tracking, HR, or case management systems such as BrassRing, SAP, Workday, SharePoint, and Zendesk to manage workflows and data
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent is required
