This Talent Casting Coordinator (Seasonal) position is an hourly administrative role supporting the Disney Live Entertainment Talent Casting, Booking, and Contracts team. Some of the areas that this position could support are auditioning, booking talent, contacting, scheduling, and tracking interactions with talent.
You will report to the Casting Sourcing Manager.
This is a Casual Temporary or Seasonal role with no guarantee of weekly working hours, as hours will fluctuate based on business needs.
What You Will Do:
Provide excellent client service and administrative support for Casting and Booking Directors, the Talent Casting leadership team, entertainment operating areas, event and convention production teams, and creative partners
Communicate (both written and verbal) with all talent and internal partners
Receive, preview, and log promotional materials, while organizing and processing documentation with a focus on the convention/special event business
Draft various types of contracts, including talent and services agreements, amendments, and confidentiality agreements, using pre-approved templates
Track and process payments from different partners and vendors
Produce ongoing reports related to Talent Casting, Booking, and Contracts metrics
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Experience handling confidential information
Experience navigating Microsoft Office Suite programs, particularly Outlook and Excel
Knowledge of Smartsheet, Teams, and Zoom
Proofreading and professional telephone skills when communicating with talent agents, managers, and talent
Experience providing excellent Guest Service
Outstanding organizational, prioritization, and time management skills, and exceptional attention to detail
Ability to work outside regular business hours (nights, weekends, holidays) as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in Entertainment
Experience with the terms and conditions of various labor contracts as applicable
Experience creating reports from raw data
Proficiency in Smartsheet and Excel
Understanding of contractual language and processing
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent experience is required
Advanced degree or equivalent experience in Arts/Entertainment field is preferred
