You'll be a hands-on tech working in the field doing a mix of service calls and installs, including:
Diagnose, service, and repair HVAC systems (AC/heat pump/gas/oil where applicable)
Install HVAC equipment (including ductwork/air distribution when needed)
Troubleshoot and repair boilers (gas/oil/hydronic systems)
Install and replace boilers and related components (pumps, controls, expansion tanks, etc.)
Communicate clearly with homeowners about options, pricing, and next steps
Maintain clean, safe job sites and professional workmanship
Follow Massachusetts code requirements and company standards
Participate in an on-call rotation (after-hours paid at double time)
What We're Looking For (Must-Haves)
Proven experience as an HVAC service technician and installer
Strong experience with boiler repair and installation
Valid driver's license + clean driving record
Reliable, professional, and customer-focused
Able to work independently and as part of a small team
Comfortable using job notes/photos and basic mobile apps (dispatching software experience is a plus)
Preferred / Nice-to-Haves
5+ years HVAC experience
Sheet metal license (or strong ductwork fabrication/installation skills)
EPA Certification (Universal preferred)
Oil burner experience/certification (a big plus on Cape Cod)
Experience with heat pumps and high-efficiency systems
Experience with brands like Viessmann, Lochinvar, Weil-McLain, Amana, Cooper & Hunter (not required)
