The Cytotech microscopically evaluates all types of cytology specimens submitted to the cytopathology laboratory; screens cytologic material and recognizes abnormalities identified and renders an interpretation diagnoses using the laboratory information system; appropriate cases are sent to the Cytopathologists for final interpretation consideration; assists Rapid-On Site Evaluations in multiple services including Bronchoscopy, Interventional Radiology, and surgical clinics; and more!
Location: Near Newberry, FL
Type: Full-time and permanent
Shift: M-F, 8a-5p
Requirements: College degree; ASCP cert; FL license; prior experience
