Education Requirement/Work Experience High school diploma / GED Two-year degree or technical certificate preferred Three years of related experience Associates at this level are expected to have developed a trade of expertise and have the ability to work independently in the performance of standard maintenance and repairs. Experience with MRP/ERP work order processes Experience monitoring and maintaining with low pressure boilers, air compressors, air driers, and vacuum pumps. Experience maintaining forklifts Proficient in reading schematics to trouble shoot hydraulic / pneumatic and electrical issues. Must be able to work assigned shifts, including working overtime and attending after hour meetings as needed. Manufacturing experience preferred. Position Level Guidelines For hiring purposes, this position may be classified at one of several levels depending on the candidate's experience, skill set, and demonstrated competency. Placement within the appropriate level will be determined based on relevant experience and overall proficiency as outlined below: Level Years of Experience Entry 0 - 2 years Mid 2 - 4 years Expert 4 - 6 years Senior 6+ years Each level reflects progressively greater years of experience, technical knowledge, problem-solving ability, independence, and leadership in maintaining plant equipment and systems. Materials Required Plant will provide required tools necessary to perform all functions of the job/position, but candidate can use their personal tools is reviewed and approved by plant management.
