Are you a Master Electrician ready to step into a high-level leadership role? We are seeking an Electrical Service Manager to lead operations for a premier residential and commercial provider in the Richmond region.

In this role, you aren't just a technician; you are the Qualifying Individual (QI) for the company's Virginia DPOR license. You will provide the technical backbone and leadership necessary to scale a high-quality service team while ensuring every job meets NEC and Virginia building codes.

Core Responsibilities
  • Licensing & Compliance: Serve as the Qualifying Individual (QI) for the DPOR electrical license; ensure 100% compliance with NEC and VA codes.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and audit the work of electricians, journeymen, and apprentices.
  • Operations: Lead day-to-day service operations, coordinate inspections (rough-in to final), and manage project documentation.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers, contractors, and municipal inspectors.
Requirements
  • Must possess an active Virginia Master Electrician License (DPOR).
  • Must be eligible to serve as the company's Qualifying Individual (QI).
  • Minimum 8 years of electrical experience (Residential & Commercial).
  • Prior experience supervising electrical crews or managing service departments.
  • Expert knowledge of NEC and Virginia code requirements.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
