As a GI Nurse Practitioner, you will play a vital role in diagnosing and managing disorders of the digestive tract while working closely with supervising physicians. This role blends clinical expertise, patient education, and procedural support in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

• Perform comprehensive exams, diagnose, and treat patients

• Obtain detailed medical histories and document care plans accurately

• Order and interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostic tests

• Assist with GI procedures (colonoscopies, endoscopies, conscious sedation)

• Develop and manage treatment plans, including medication management

• Provide patient education on diet, disease prevention, and lifestyle modifications

• Collaborate with specialists and refer within network when appropriate

• Maintain high standards of quality care and compliance

• Master s Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program (Family or Adult-Geriatrics)

• Active New York State NP License

• National Board Certification (AANP, ANCC, or ONCC)

• EMR/EHR experience preferred

• Bilingual Spanish is a plus
