Locum Opportunity: Physician Assistant (PA) Cardiothoracic Surgery

$140/hr

Start ASAP

• Inpatient, hospital-based

• Cardiothoracic surgery team

• Supporting patient care from ICU to OR

• EMR: Cerner

• Weekdays: Monday Friday 8 10 hour shifts (in-house)

• Night Call: 6 PM 6 AM

• Weekend Call:

  • Starts Friday 6 PM Ends Monday 6 AM

  • Rounding Sat/Sun: 7 AM 12 PM

• Assist in cardiac surgeries (first assist)

• Endoscopic Vein Harvesting (EVH)

• Vascular tissue retrieval for bypass

• Chest tube insertions

• ICU & floor rounding

• Consults, care coordination, prescriptions, and more

NCCPA Certified
Active NJ License (must have no time for licensing)
2 3+ years of CT Surgery experience
EVH proficiency & first assist experience
Cerner EMR experience (preferred)

• $140/hr
