Surgery - Neurosurgery Physician

• Level 1 Trauma Center

• 100,000 annual ER volume

• 12 Operating Rooms

• 6 Neurosurgeons in practice

• Patient population: Adults (17+) with trauma & neurosurgery cases

• Manage trauma and adult neurosurgery cases: tumor removal, brain bleed control, trauma repair

• Perform shunt insertions/revisions, cranial burr holes, ICP monitoring

• Handle traumatic brain injury, neurocritical care, spinal surgeries (diskectomy, laminectomy, fusion, stabilization)

• Placement of arterial/venous access, administration of vasoactive/sedating meds

• EEG interpretation, lumbar punctures, external ventricular drain management, hypothermia protocol application

• Travel reimbursement :

• $3,500 per day

• Malpractice insurance Covered

• Submit additional bill rates for:
  24-hour on-call ($3,500 cap)
  Holiday on-call
  Call back & holiday call back

• Board Certified Required

• Active Colorado medical license Required

• Weekend coverage availability as described Required

• BLS, ACLS, ATLS certifications Required

• COVID-19 vaccination Required

• Fellowship Preferred but not required

• Malpractice-free history Highly preferred
