Pay Rate: $20.67 per hour

Are you currently enrolled in a radiologic technology program and ready to gain hands on experience in a hospital setting? American Fork Hospital is seeking a Non Registered Radiology Technologist who is eager to grow their skills, support patient care, and build a strong foundation toward ARRT registration.

In this role, you'll perform diagnostic imaging procedures within your scope of practice, working under the supervision of a Registered Radiologic Technologist while gaining valuable clinical experience that directly supports your transition from student to registered technologist.

What You'll Do

As a Non Registered Radiology Technologist, you will:

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures within state licensure and scope of practice
• Maintain ARRT or modality specific competency in clinical and technical functions
• Verify patient identity and orders; prepare patients for imaging exams
• Perform exams according to department protocols and evaluate images for quality, clarity, and accuracy
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and maintain a safe environment for patients and caregivers
• Complete studies efficiently without compromising patient care or image quality
• Educate patients, promote comfort, and address questions or concerns
• Practice proper infection control and sterile techniques
• Operate imaging equipment and related information systems effectively
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient information, procedures, and adverse reactions
• Follow protocols related to medical necessity, coding, charging, consents, quality control programs, and equipment issue reporting

Minimum Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a JRCERT or AMA approved radiologic technology program, with documented completion of required clinical and didactic training per state regulations
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers
