You will oversee daily nursing operations, mentor and support staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and champion patient-centered care across departments. How you'll contribute

A Registered Nurse who excels in this role:

• Assumes shift accountability for hospital operations and provides direction and assistance to the primary caregivers in patient - care areas.
• Acts as a clinical and administrative resource to staff.
• Coordinates and directs activities in emergency situations.
• Counsels and directs unit resource nurses and staff in provision of direct nursing care.
• Functions as a patient advocate. Investigates and resolves patient/customer and staff complaints.

What we're looking for
Applicants should have a current Virginia state or compact state RN license.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required within 7 days of hire
• ACLS, PALS required within 7 days of hire
• 5 years experience as Registered Nurse in a hospital setting is highly preferred
• Nursing supervisor in ICU and/or ED preferred
