Job Description
We are seeking a Board-Certified Neurologist for locum tenens coverage beginning March 2026. This opportunity includes a mix of onsite clinical care, outpatient clinic coverage, and call responsibilities in a well-supported hospital setting:
Schedule:
Onsite Coverage: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
Night Call: 4:30 PM 8:00 AM
Weekend Call: 24-hour coverage
Outpatient Clinic Hours (within onsite shift):
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 1:00 PM 3:00 PM
Practice Details:
Average 6 8 patients per day
EEG reads for both inpatient and outpatient as needed
When outpatient volume is light, provider will continue to deliver onsite hospital coverage
EMR: Cerner
Required Procedures:
Radiologic exam interpretation
Lumbar puncture (spinal tap)
EEG
Brain death examination
Evoked potentials
Requirements:
Board Certified in Neurology
Active Michigan medical license
Active DEA
BLS & ACLS
NIH Stroke Scale / tPA competency
