Coverage Details
Start: ASAP upon credentialing
Reason for coverage: Open position
Schedule: Full-time preferred; minimum availability of two weeks per month required
Practice Setting & Scope
Hospital-based anesthesia services
10 operating rooms
Mix of personally performed cases and CRNA supervision on a daily basis
MD-to-CRNA ratio: approximately 1:3 4
Supervision of CRNAs required at times

Orthopedics
Urology
Ophthalmology
Endoscopy
Limited pediatric cases (dental and eye only); otherwise primarily adult and geriatric population

Spinal anesthesia
Epidural anesthesia
Regional anesthesia

Limited pediatric cases as noted above

Submission & Credentialing Requirements
Board Certified Anesthesiologist (required)
Active New York State medical license at time of submission (required)
Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (required)
NPDB self-query report pulled within the same month as submission (required)
Must reside outside a 60-mile radius of the facility (required)
Willingness to meet conversion fee requirement
Full-time availability preferred
