Facility in Battleboro, VT seeking General Surgery locums coverageRates: $350/hrOpportunity HighlightsSchedule: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM.Call Ratio: 1:4.Clinical Setting: Hospital-based with an integrated office clinic.Surgical Volume: 13 cases per day.Facilities: 3 Operating Rooms + 1 dedicated Procedure Room.Team: 2 General Surgeons currently in practice + 1 new hire. Supported by CRNAs and a full complement of scrub techs and circulating nurses.EMR: Cerner.Clinical Scope & ProceduresThe surgeon will manage a diverse patient demographic, including adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, within a Level 3 Trauma environment.Core General Surgery:General Surgical Cases & Proficiency in modern surgical techniques.Laparoscopic Surgery: Cholecystectomy and Hernioplasty.Chest Wall/Pleural Procedures & Chest Tube Insertion.Vascular & GI:Abdominal Vascular Surgery.GI Endoscopy: Upper, Lower, and Colonoscopy.Pediatric (If Specialty Trained):Umbilical Defects (Omphalocele), Hernia repair, and Imperforate Anus management.Provider RequirementsDegree/Education: MD or DO from an accredited medical school; completion of a General Surgery Residency Program (No exemptions).Board Status: Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery.Licensure: Active Vermont Medical License required at submission.Certifications: BLS / CPR for Healthcare Providers.Compliance: Clean Malpractice History and an NPDB Self-Query Report (dated within 30 days) required at presentation.DEA: Must be obtained prior to start date.About WhiteCoat Locums:- Physician owned and led agency- Highest-Pay rates on the market- $1m/3m malpractice insurance and tail- 100% transparent
