We are seeking a
Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Psychiatrist to join our compassionate Behavioral Health team. This role is ideal for a skilled and thoughtful provider with a passion for serving patients across the lifespan. Responsibilities include conducting psychiatric evaluations, managing treatment plans, prescribing medication, and collaborating with our multi-disciplinary mental health team to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care. RRH is a Joy in Medicine recognized organization by the American Medical Association.
Patient Care & Treatment - Provide expert psychiatric care for mental health conditions
- Conduct evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and medication management
- Collaborate with psychologists, therapists, and primary care teams
- Maintain EMR documentation in a timely and thorough manner
- Contribute to holistic care that emphasizes dignity and long-term wellness
Collaborative Teamwork - Participate in integrated care initiatives with other RRH departments
- Leverage support from case managers, RNs, and administrative staff
- Join a team that values compassionate communication and teamwork
- Help advance Behavioral Health access in a rural community setting
Qualifications - MD or DO from an accredited institution
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry Psychiatry
- Active California medical license or ability to obtain
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills
- Experience in rural or community mental health settings is a plus
