Position Overview
Avanti Fleet is a premier, fully mobile heavy-duty repair organization. We are currently seeking elite, independent Diesel Service Partners (1099) to provide high-level diagnostic and repair services directly to our clients in the field.
There is no "in-shop" work; this is a role for the autonomous technician who excels in a field-service environment. Avanti Fleet provides the strategic infrastructure including administrative support, specialized heavy tooling, and business development resources allowing our partners to focus 100% on technical execution and fleet uptime.
Scope of Services
Field Diagnostics & Repair: Execute advanced troubleshooting and repairs on Class 7/8 vehicles and heavy equipment at client locations or roadside.
On-Site Preventative Maintenance: Conduct comprehensive PM services and safety inspections in a mobile capacity.
Emergency Service Response: Manage mobile service calls with a high degree of autonomy and technical proficiency.
System Specialization: Diagnostic and repair work involving aftertreatment systems (DPF/DEF), fuel systems, electrical networks, and hydraulic systems.
Digital Documentation: Utilize mobile diagnostic and reporting software to document all service activities and parts usage in real-time.

Operational Assets: Vehicle: An optional, fully-equipped company service truck is available for partner use.
Logistics: Corporate gas cards and wholesale parts accounts are provided to eliminate out-of-pocket operational expenses.
Tooling: Contractors are expected to provide their own professional hand-held tool set. Avanti Fleet provides all heavy equipment, specialized shop tools, and advanced diagnostic software.
Administrative & Financial Support:
Back-Office Management: We handle all billing, collections, scheduling, and customer service, removing the administrative hurdles that typically burden a self-started LLC.
Insurance & Compliance Support: Avanti provides administrative guidance for insurance requirements. Performance-based "spiffs" are integrated into the compensation structure to specifically offset the costs of independent insurance and business overhead.
Tax & Business Development: Partners gain access to our third-party Tax Consultation and Business Development firm to assist with LLC formation, tax strategy, and long-term financial planning.
Contractor Requirements
Experience: 5+ years of verifiable experience in heavy-duty diesel mechanics, specifically in a mobile or field-service capacity.
Business Status: Must operate as a registered business entity (LLC/EIN). (Consultation is available for those transitioning from W-2 to 1099).
Technical Proficiency: Ability to perform complex repairs without shop-based support or supervision.
Licensing: Valid driver s license with a clean record (CDL preferred but not required).
Compensation
Contract Rates: Competitive per-job (flat-rate) or hourly contract rates.
