Job Description

Position Overview

Avanti Fleet is a premier, fully mobile heavy-duty repair organization. We are currently seeking elite, independent Diesel Service Partners (1099) to provide high-level diagnostic and repair services directly to our clients in the field.

There is no "in-shop" work; this is a role for the autonomous technician who excels in a field-service environment. Avanti Fleet provides the strategic infrastructure including administrative support, specialized heavy tooling, and business development resources allowing our partners to focus 100% on technical execution and fleet uptime.

Scope of Services

Field Diagnostics & Repair: Execute advanced troubleshooting and repairs on Class 7/8 vehicles and heavy equipment at client locations or roadside.

On-Site Preventative Maintenance: Conduct comprehensive PM services and safety inspections in a mobile capacity.

Emergency Service Response: Manage mobile service calls with a high degree of autonomy and technical proficiency.

System Specialization: Diagnostic and repair work involving aftertreatment systems (DPF/DEF), fuel systems, electrical networks, and hydraulic systems.

Digital Documentation: Utilize mobile diagnostic and reporting software to document all service activities and parts usage in real-time.

The Avanti Support Infrastructure

As a 1099 Partner, you are backed by the full administrative weight of Avanti Fleet to ensure your independent business thrives:

Operational Assets: Vehicle: An optional, fully-equipped company service truck is available for partner use.

Logistics: Corporate gas cards and wholesale parts accounts are provided to eliminate out-of-pocket operational expenses.

Tooling: Contractors are expected to provide their own professional hand-held tool set. Avanti Fleet provides all heavy equipment, specialized shop tools, and advanced diagnostic software.

Administrative & Financial Support:

Back-Office Management: We handle all billing, collections, scheduling, and customer service, removing the administrative hurdles that typically burden a self-started LLC.

Insurance & Compliance Support: Avanti provides administrative guidance for insurance requirements. Performance-based "spiffs" are integrated into the compensation structure to specifically offset the costs of independent insurance and business overhead.

Tax & Business Development: Partners gain access to our third-party Tax Consultation and Business Development firm to assist with LLC formation, tax strategy, and long-term financial planning.

Contractor Requirements

Experience: 5+ years of verifiable experience in heavy-duty diesel mechanics, specifically in a mobile or field-service capacity.

Business Status: Must operate as a registered business entity (LLC/EIN). (Consultation is available for those transitioning from W-2 to 1099).

Technical Proficiency: Ability to perform complex repairs without shop-based support or supervision.

Licensing: Valid driver s license with a clean record (CDL preferred but not required).

Compensation

Contract Rates: Competitive per-job (flat-rate) or hourly contract rates.

Incentive Structure: Performance spiffs designed for financial growth and insurance/overhead reimbursement.
