Position: General Dentist

Employment Type: Locum Tenens (1099)

Start Date: March 2, 2026

End Date: May 28, 2026

Schedule:

• Monday: 7:40 AM 5:00 PM
• Tuesday: 9:40 AM 7:00 PM
• Wednesday: 7:40 AM 5:00 PM
• Thursday: 6:40 AM 4:00 PM
• 1 Friday per month: 7:40 AM 5:00 PM
  Shift Type: Day Shift (8-hour standard)
  Coverage Type: Scheduled coverage, no call

Compensation:

• Pay Rate: $100 $125 per hour

Practice Setting:

• Outpatient clinic
• Adult patients with some cooperative pediatric patients
• Support staff includes: 1 Dental Assistant, 2 Hygienists, 1 Business Assistant, and 1 Practice Manager (shared between practices)
• EMR: Dentrix

Responsibilities:

The provider will perform a range of general dentistry procedures, including but not limited to:

• Fillings
• Crowns and bridges
• Full and partial dentures
• Root canals
• Simple and surgical extractions
• Invisalign (preferred but not required)
• Hygiene checks
• Implant placement and restoration

Complex cases may be referred out as needed. Strong patient education and bedside manner are highly valued.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with the Wave One Rotary system
• Invisalign experience

Requirements:

• Active AZ state dental license required
• BLS certification required
• DEA preferred but not required
• Preferred certifications: Invisalign and Nitrous Oxide (if required by the state)

Credentialing:

• Minimum one week required between offer and start date
• TB test (QGold) required within three days of accepting an offer (new test required)
