A Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician is needed to join a growing pediatric ED team in Nevada. This role offers the opportunity to practice in an 8-bed pediatric emergency department (expandable to 12 beds) with strong pediatric subspecialty support and steady patient volume. Providers will work ongoing 24-hour shifts in a community that offers a wide range of lifestyle amenities.

Dates / Schedule

• Shift Length: 24-hour shifts

• Availability: Ongoing coverage needed

• ED Capacity: 8 beds (flex up to 12)

• Annual Volume: 13,000 pediatric visits

Job Details & Responsibilities

• Setting: Pediatric Emergency Department

• Support: Pediatric subspecialty support available

• Required Duties: Full-scope pediatric emergency care

• Rate Structure:

  • Orientation: 50% of standard rate

  • Hourly + OT (OT = standard rate after 40 hrs/week)

  • Holidays: 1.25

• Additional Requirements:

  • CV must be in MM/YYYY format with all gaps explained

  • Prescreen questionnaire must be completed

  • Providers must adhere to facility rate structure

• Licensure: NV license or IMLC eligible

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Board Certified in Pediatric Emergency Medicine Required

• Minimum 5 years of community PEDS ED experience Required

• Must be currently clinically active (within past year) Required

• Completed prescreen questionnaire Required

• NV license or IMLC eligibility Required

• Board Certification Required
