Surgery - Vascular Physician

ATC West Healthcare Services is seeking a Locum Vascular Surgeon to provide hospital-based coverage, with the opportunity to transition into a permanent role. This position focuses on comprehensive vascular and endovascular surgical care for adult and geriatric patients. Coverage is ongoing with a consistent call schedule and strong procedural volume.

• Coverage Need: Ongoing

• Schedule: 7 14 days per month

• Shift Type: 24-hour call

• Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days

• Practice Setting: Hospital-based

• Operating Rooms & Facilities:

  • 1 standard OR

  • 1 Siemens Hybrid OR

  • 1 Siemens Interventional Radiology suite

  • In-house hemodialysis access services

• Patient Population: Adult and geriatric

• Ancillary Staff:

  • Vascular team on call Thursday Sunday

  • No certified first assist, but a well-trained team

  • Two surgical technologists provided

Required Procedures:

• Vascular Surgery:

  • Aneurysm repairs (including abdominal)

  • Arterial bypass (peripheral)

  • Vascular access devices and AV shunts

• Endovascular & Open Procedures:

  • Femoral-popliteal bypass

  • Aortofemoral bypass

  • Stenting

  • Endovascular and open reconstruction for deep vein occlusions

  • Peripheral artery disease interventions

• Board Certified in Vascular Surgery (truly Board Eligible accepted)

• Active Kentucky medical license (IMLC candidates considered)

• Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation

• Flu vaccination (required at credentialing)

• COVID-19 vaccination (preferred)
