Primary Care Physician - Skilled Nursing Facility - Syracuse, NY Area We invite a dedicated and experienced Primary Care Physician to join our team near Syracuse, New York, focusing on comprehensive care within a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting. Position Highlights: Schedule: Full-time role with a flexible rounding schedule across five days a week, tailored to your preferences. No on-call duties. Compensation: Uncapped earning potential. Core Responsibilities: Conduct primary care rounds, diagnosing and managing chronic and acute conditions within the skilled nursing facility. Develop and implement effective, evidence-based care plans. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, facility leaders, and the post-acute care community to enhance patient care and coordination. Provide guidance and mentorship to Nurse Practitioners. Requirements: Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in Primary Care. Experience in post-acute care is advantageous. Background: Candidates from Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Hospitalist, or Emergency Medicine backgrounds are welcome. Licensing: Active and unrestricted New York Medical License and DEA/prescriptive authority (or actively in the process of obtaining both).
