ATC West Healthcare Services is seeking a full-time Radiation Oncologist to provide comprehensive outpatient radiation oncology services starting as soon as credentialing is complete. This locum tenens role covers a busy adult patient practice with no call and includes a wide range of external beam and stereotactic treatments. Providers must be able to commit to full 4-week blocks of coverage.

Dates / Schedule

• Hours: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM (30-minute lunch; 8-hour days)

• Coverage Need: Full-time; 4 weeks per month

• Start Date: ASAP upon completion of credentialing (temp privileges available; days)

• Call: None

Job Details / Responsibilities

• Solo coverage (one physician practice; no other Radiation Oncologists onsite)

• Patient Volume:

  • Outpatient: patients/day (on-treatment visits, weekly visits, follow-ups, consults)

  • Inpatient: 0 1/day

• Setting: Trauma Level II; adult patients

• EMR: Aria

• Credentialing: Temp privileges available ( days)

• Required Procedures:

  • Conventional Radiotherapy

  • 3D Radiotherapy

  • IMRT, IGRT, 3D-CRT

  • Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT)

  • Stereotactic Radiosurgery

  • Photon Beam Radiation Therapy

  • Fractionated Stereotactic Radiotherapy

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Board Certified Radiation Oncologist REQUIRED

• Active IA license or Active IMLC REQUIRED

• COVID-19 vaccination REQUIRED

• Ability to start ASAP post-credentialing REQUIRED

• Availability for 4-week continuous coverage blocks REQUIRED

• Clean background/malpractice history REQUIRED

• Experience with Aria EMR Highly Preferred

• Local or within driving distance Highly Preferred
