Job DetailsWe are seeking a customer-focused Universal Banker who is comfortable handling teller transactions while also supporting new account openings and lending-related activities. This role is ideal for a banker who thrives in a relationship-driven environment and enjoys variety in their day-to-day responsibilities.
Due to minimal teller traffic at this branch, the successful candidate will spend a significant portion of time assisting clients with deposit accounts, supporting loan processes, and identifying opportunities to deepen customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Teller Responsibilities
- Process customer deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments accurately
- Issue cashier's checks, money orders, and currency orders
- Balance cash drawers and maintain accurate transaction records
- Provide professional, high-quality customer service and resolve routine inquiries
Universal Banker Responsibilities
- Open and maintain personal and business deposit accounts
- Support lending activities, including gathering documentation and providing product information
- Perform teller transactions as needed to support branch operations
- Identify opportunities to recommend appropriate bank products and services based on customer needs
- Ensure compliance with all banking regulations, policies, and procedures
Qualifications
- One or more years of banking, financial services, or high-touch customer service experience preferred
- Experience opening deposit accounts and supporting loan documentation strongly preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Professional communication style with a relationship-first mindset
- Comfortable working independently in a low-transaction branch environment
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
