Oncology Locum - Rhode Island
- Work Dates Needed: As soon as credentialed. Position lasts for 1 year.
- Preferred Schedule: Clinic Hours: M-F; 8am to 4:30pm, excluding holidays. Clinic or OR Schedule: 40 hours per week during admin hours; specific clinic times to be negotiated with provider closer to start date. Weeknight, Weekends and Holiday call is required. On call schedule to be determined by clinical director. On-call providers must be available w/n 15 mins by phone and on-site w/n 60 mins.
- Worksite Setting: VA Medical Center
- Scope of Work: Providence VA currently has a shortage of BC Oncology physicians. This position lasts 1 year. Provider will provide expert consultation and treatment to patients in an Inpatient (1%) and Outpatient (99%) clinic setting. 26 hours of bookable clinical time per week; 2 patients per hour. 5 hours of inpatient coverage per week.
- Licenses, Certifications, Requirements: Board Certified by the Internal Medicine Medical Oncology Board. Active Medical License and Federal DEA, BLS, ACLS, Fingerprinting and security clearance
