About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join our esteemed surgical team in the Pasadena, CA area. This full-time, employed position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment, providing comprehensive care for patients with complex cardiovascular and thoracic conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a wide range of cardiothoracic surgical procedures including CABG, Valve Repair/replacement, and minimally invasive thoracic surgeries.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide preoperative care, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
- Engage in patient education, discussing surgical options, risks, and recovery process.
- Participate in on-call rotations and weekend coverage as required.
Qualifications:
- Board Certification or eligibility in Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery.
- Completion of an accredited cardiothoracic surgery residency and fellowship program.
- Valid California Medical License or eligibility for licensure in California
- Demonstrated expertise in performing complex Cardiothoracic surgical procedures.
- Strong Interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team oriented environment.
