General Surgeon Locums Job in Texas Bread & Butter with Limited Trauma We are seeking a dedicated and experienced General Surgeon for a high-volume locum tenens assignment in Texas. This is an ideal opportunity for a surgeon looking to supplement their schedule with consistent monthly shifts in a fast-paced clinical environment. Position Overview Schedule: 5-7 days per month (ongoing throughout September 2026). Shift Structure: 24-hour on-call coverage only. Location: Northeast Texas (High-acuity, busy facility). Clinical Impact Daily Patient Volume: patients per shift. Emergency Response: 5 9 trauma-related ER visits per day. (Level IV) Surgical Breadth: Average of 2 4 surgical cases per 24-hour shift.
