Job Description
- Work Dates Needed: As soon as accepted, and credentialing and security clearance, for one base year, plus one option year
- Preferred Schedule: M-F, 8:30a-5p (no weekends, holidays, or OT)
- Worksite Setting: Veteran Healthcare facility
- Scope of Work:
- effectively apply all aspects of Anatomic Pathology Care for Veterans,
- No autopsy expectation;
- 100-150 surgical pathology cases per month;
- Work alongside 3 other surgical pathologists;
- Mainly GI, GU, lung, head/neck and basic skin biopsies;
- Frozen section interpretations, but no other subspecialty needed
- Licenses, Certifications,
- Requirements: Full unrestricted license any state;
- possess medical degree (MD) or an equivalent degree resulting from course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine,
- Shall be Board Certified in Anatomic Pathology from the American Society for Clinical Pathology,
- Must have 5 years experience within the past three years (exceptions may be considered for those with other strong experience);
