Eastern New Mexico Medical Center is seeking 2 Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Emergency Medicine Physicians for an ongoing locum tenens assignment starting April 1, 2026.

• Start Date: 4/1/2026

• Duration: Ongoing

• Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Only

• Shifts: 7a 7p and 7p 7a (Day & Night coverage needed primarily nights)

• EMR: Cerner

• Practice Setting: Inpatient Emergency Department

• Patients Per Shift: 40

• Beds in ED: 23

• Trauma Level: III

• Stroke Certified Facility

• 5 RNs and 2 PA/NPs per shift

• 24-hour availability for:

  • Anesthesia

  • General Surgery

  • Radiology

  • Orthopedics

  • Neurosurgery

  • Vascular Surgery

  • Laboratory Services

• L&D department onsite (newborn deliveries may present to ED)

• Active New Mexico Medical License (Required at time of submission)

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
  

• Enrollment in NM Patient Compensation Fund (PCF) required- we can help with this!

• Scheduled hours only (No call)

• No admissions required

• No supervision of APPs required
