As a Registered Nurse in the ICU, you will be an integral part of a dedicated team, providing top-notch care to patients with complex medical needs. This role requires a strong background in ICU or PCU, with the ability to titrate drips and manage a variety of patient conditions. You will work in a 32-bed unit with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:2 in ICU, ensuring you can focus on delivering the highest quality care.

• Administer and monitor critical care drips, including Cardizem, insulin, pressors/inotropes, heparin, Lasix, and bumex.
• Provide comprehensive care for patients undergoing coronary and peripheral angiograms, neurosurgery, and those with conditions like sepsis, COPD, and CHF.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including a 24/7 in-house hospitalist and respiratory therapists.
• Utilize EPIC for charting and documentation.
• Participate in a structured orientation program, including EPIC training and unit-specific skills development.
• Work 12-hour shifts with a schedule released 6 weeks in advance.
• Weekend and holiday work as required, with no call or standby obligations.
• Wear royal blue scrubs as part of the unit's dress code.
